An important announcement from the Board of Directors of the Miss Arlington Scholarship Organization, Inc.

​After much thought and reflection, we have made the difficult decision not to sponsor a local program as part of the Miss Virginia Opportunity and Miss America Opportunity in 2026.  

We take immense pride in mentoring and supporting the incredible young women who allow us to be part of their lives. Because of this, we must be able to fully stand behind the leadership and direction of the organizations we work with. At this time, the choices being made at the state and national levels raise concerns that do not reflect the values we uphold as a program or as individuals. Because of this, we cannot continue our involvement under the present structure.

We hope that, with meaningful change, there will be a day when we can return. Until then, we want to thank every person who has supported us and, most importantly, the young women we have the honor of knowing.
