Talent: Jazz Dance – “River Deep, Mountain High”
Alyssa began her pageant journey at the age of nine after being inspired by close family friends. From the moment she hit the stage, she felt a spark of new found confidence. She quickly learned that pageantry is not just stages and crowns, it’s about community service, friendship and support to others.
In 2022, she became Miss Arlington’s Teen In Training for the first time and her positive experience led her to continue with the program in 2023. Today, she is ready to take the next step with this system and will be competing as Miss Northern VIrginia’s Teen 2024 this June. Her community service initiative is St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and she will help fight against childhood cancer. Her goal is to become a pediatric oncologist.
Alyssa has been dancing at Adrenaline Dance Studio in Herndon, VA for the past 3 years and joined their Next Level competition team in 2023. She has also been a Girl Scout since 2021 and promoted at the Cadette Bridging Ceremony. In 2022, she achieved the National Miss PreTeen Title at East Coast USA.
Alyssa is currently a 7th grader attending St. Joseph Catholic School in Herndon, VA. She joined her school’s choir and has performed on stage as part of a Choral Festival at St. Paul VI HIgh School in January 2024.
Alyssa lives with her parents and older brother and has a dog named Misha. Her favorite activities include dancing, singing, making bracelets and doing crossfit.
